How did you figure out where you have to cut the tape? I know the pieces have to be flat, but I have no idea how to cut the pattern without getting hundreds of tiny pieces.

Yeah, that was originally my problem too :( But it turns out there's a little leeway, and once you cut the basic curved pieces off you can pretty much flatten them with your hand. then trace the pattern onto fur (In the right direction), cut it out, and glue it onto the base. it's worked for me so far. But try to take the flattest pieces to draw the cutting line on (both sides of muzzle, forehead, ect. Don't try to cut out the whole face or you probably wont be able to flatten it very well, lol.) I'm a newbie at this and I didn't really use a tutorial, but so far the furring has been ok, so I hope this helps!
