Haha, good luck finding anything. I shall make a story for this planet later. It's a barren planet though so probably not much there.

Can this one land on a square mile of it and drive around?

If you're lucky. Take Garrus with you. Might need some long range sniper support.

very good work on the planet tho the background is a bit cluttered in my opnion...if that was the intent then very good work over all.

Background is just some unedited HSV noise I threw in there, I didn't feel like making a full blown piece with a half-decent starfield and clouds or a sun (which i need to figure out how to make one.) x3

no problem. still good work on the planet, more then i can say about anything else i would have done(if i tryed)

Hehe, planets and starfields are about all I can do, I lack photoshop (and money) to make decent nebulae and can't find any good tutorials for GIMP on how to make them. My Ghost Planet picture has my best nebula I've been able to make. Thanks for your input it's nice to see my work actually gets some notice here. :3

I have difficulty on Photoshop even..
If you know how to make brushes, build a new 3-5px soft brush and make sure the size and such is scattered. then Paint two layers of stars (randomness works best :P) and then erase different areas of the layers with a larger-soft brush ^^

Alternatively! If GIMP has a transformation tool; add a Guassian Noise and then duplicate the layer and rotate it 180 degrees, then set it to Screen as the type and go from there.. :P

The planet looks amazing btw! The only thing that subtracts from it is the density of stars.. but hey, I'm sure ther is a planet in a supercompact galaxy out there somewhere! ^-^
