I also really like the boots.
It's nice to see thought applied to adapting everyday objects for use by different species.
Lately I've been sort of noodling with a science fiction setting that thanks to widespread bio-engineering has everything from near baseline humans to all the various flavors of anthros to sapient giant squid living together, so considerations for how in the hell such a society would "reasonably accommodate" everyone have been on my mind.
