I designed this for the Desktop wallpaper on our Server 2003 machine in school. This actually started out as a joke. It was a simple paint drawing and was actually called "Microsoft Windows: Derp Edition"
But I decided to design a more serious and elegant design using my Adobe Flash program and used a beautiful brushed metal texture as a background and a custom font for "untitled edition." Yeah, we couldn't think of a name so we I just named it untitled. And screw 64bit, this edition is running a 128bit OS!
The logo was actually inspired but the Mac OSX Microsoft Office logo. The green square is smaller than the rest of the squares in the Mac logo, so I decided to make all the squares misshapen is weird looking.
PS: I love this deisgn.
