User icon for mlp_firefly of the #TwitterPonies, it's the G1 pony who eventually evolved into the pony we now call Rainbow Dash. ;)
Most people use Lauren Faust's Rainbow Dash development art for drawing G4 Firefly, which makes perfect sense, but ends up looking too much like Rainbow Dash for my taste. For this pic, I went back to pics of G1 Firefly and tried to bring that character forward, incorporating requests from @mlp_firefly's player.
I'm pretty pleased with the result. ^.^

Hee, she was arguably my first introduction to MLP, way back in the 80s with the Midnight Castle special - which was totally super bad-ass and Furry... even as a kid I remember wondering why the heck Scorpan would want to be changed back... "Dude, you had _wings_ .... and a tail!" :D
