I had a local when I went in for surgery so I kind of remember what happened. I remember Whitney Houston's "I will always love you" playing and that's about it.

I was always curious what surgeons listened to when they operated. And now I know: love songs. I'll never listen to "Who wants to live forever" the same way again.

Quarks & Co.'s last episode was about the "Nocebo"-Effect and they were showing a sort of situation from the anasthetic room before the operation where the anasthesists were talking with special words like the "poison cupboard"....or they were talking about their football club but only the passages "do you think he will come through or still manage it?" "I don't think so" and so could be heard... was so hilarious, but of course it helps understanding how some patients think ... like they are meant or some other patient who will die or stuff, XD

that the only radio station they play in hospitals. it all i hear every time i went in. I always kinda wondered why id be dancing & singing with my OCs in dream land. they play good songs.

How was the surgery, btw?

I think the last time I threw up on my dad was when I was at Chuck E. Cheese and I had a panic attack when I saw Chuck E. Cheese come out to greet the children. He was six feet tall, looked nothing like he did in the commercial, and my tiny brain couldn't process all of that, so I heaved.

It went well. I remember bits and pieces of it since I wasn't all the way under. I mostly remember praying "Please God don't let them laugh at my dick size" since I wasn't wearing anything but my socks.

There are pictures of me like that after I had a baby... but I had also had an allergic reaction to some medicine they gave me so I was GONE.

Yikes. Sorry to hear about the allergies. How bad was it?

It wasn't -that- bad. I just started itching really really bad and then they freaked out and gave me other medicine. But I hope you're well after your surgery!

I am thank you and I'm glad your's wasn't too bad. I imagine that was kind of freaky.

It was a little scary. I had lost a lot of blood and they wouldn't tell me what was going on >_>

You sure she didn't want to photos to claim some tax benefit due to some weird loophole in insurance policies regarding injuries and such?

Knowing my mom, I'm pretty sure she just wanted to take my photo while I look like that. :D
