I saw this horrific scene on my way to the train this morning....and I couldn't get it out of my head. So I decided to draw it in Ralph Steadman's style (his style lends itself to chaos and madness). Sadly this is the fate of many opossums. :(

ugh....I saw another opossum like this today. It's SO hard to see. my heart breaks when I see them in the road....poor little guy just trying to cross the road. They are so slow I don't understand why people can't see them and slow down in time to let them cross? too many careless drivers I guess.
