This is my dog, Akiba (Ah-Kee-Buh). I had just given her a bath and dried her a bit when she decided she wanted to go lay outside on the porch. I figured it was a good time to get a nice picture of her. She's so fluffy.

She's actually a hybrid, a german shepard husky mix I saved from the shelter. She's been a riot from the get-go but with some good training she really has become a good dog. She's insanely smart, almost annoyingly smart, and tends to think about whether or not its worth her while to listen to me when I want something from her. Generally at that point I use my big mom voice and she scedaddles to do what I say. xD

My favorite things about this dog is her temperment, her overall look, and her personality. This dog literally makes me feel like she actually talks to me at times. If I've been gone all day when I get home she groans at me as if to tell me to hurry up and let her out so she can go potty. Other than that she rarely makes a peep, is very mellow and easy going. But when I take her outside to go play, she flips a 180 and is hyper, energetic, and wants to run down EVERYTHING. ....Hence why I take her out on my bike often. :)
