Fleece Matrices Hoodie
I made my own hoodie from scratch! (Well, sort of! I had a pattern to go by but the face and ears I figured on my own) I am very proud. For the life of me I couldn't figure out how to get thumbholes in the cuffs, but this helped too: http://randomlytaylord.blogspot.com.....umb-holes.html So I was a success!
I constructed it primarily with a serger, so it is a single-layer of fleece, except for the hood, which I lined with black. And no pockets because dogs don't have pockets.

Honestly? The face (eyes, nose, eartips, eyelids, pupils and blaze) are all sewn on with a regular sewing machine using a tight straight stitch topstitched on with a very narrow allowance with matching colored thread. I then later trimmed any stray edges. With fleece it makes a unique sort of applique style. It takes some practice, but looks great!
