I'll be honest, I'm not that much of a fan (I was of the original when I was a little girl), but I'm a huge comic fangirl. So when my friend and I discovered how close Twilight Sparkle's mark looked like the Star Sapphire emblem, and the many times Fluttershy showed the "You WILL love me!" thing, it kinda fit her to be a Sapphire. </rambling>
