I enjoy your choice of composition with this image, Macrocell. The horse's off-center position on the page prevents it from becoming dull. I'm not quite sold on the movement of the horse, though. Maybe it has to do with the positioning of the hind legs. The coloring is outstanding, and I enjoy the use of white reflected-light outlines.

OH! I see what it is, two things, the highlight on the gaskin goes up too high, it makes is look like his leg is jointed higher than it really is, the other thing is the foot on the ground is not 'down on the bumpers', meaning the pastern is not flexed downwards enough to show it bearing weight. Did'nt relly notice till it was mentioned though. Still.. pony likes! :)
