Me too, I've always wanted an 82 Trans Am ever since I saw the show when I was 7 or 8 years old. My Uncle has an 82 TA. I ended up with a Rusted out 96 Ford Escort. I joked about it to him. *Points to his car* This is what I wanted *Points to my POS *this is what I got.*

Two questions...

First.. have you ever tried either of the games?? I actually didn't mind them too much... I preferred Knight Rider 2 over Knight Rider though..

And second.. What did you think of the new Knight Rider series?? I actually dispised it at the beginning and found myself starting to like it half way through the first (and only) season... thank god for DVDs so that I can relive that short lived yet somewhat epic series.

I've played both games and loved them, though the first game appeled to me more because I figured out how to make KITT look like KARR. But both were really good games, I wish they had released another one.

The new series was okay, but really let me down in many episodes. Most notably Knight to Kings Pawn , there was so much unnessary filler in that episode, not to mention a several month long buildup of KITT vs KARR and it was over in less than 3 minutes. I thought that was weak. Here was an episode that should've saved the series and failed to deliver.

But there were a lot of episodes I did like, includeing the Pilot that had the Hoff in it as a cameo. A lot of fans wanted the Camaro as KI3T but I kept telling them back in 2008n that the camaro wasn't even in production at the time, though I did agree with them. Not that I hated the GT500KR Mustang, It looked great as the new KITT.

*nods* I think the replacing William Daniels' trademark KITT voice with Val Kilmer was a wrong step as well... Val Kilmer played the new KITT with a complete monotone voice with a lack of emotion... it came off as sounding like a very bad 1960s robot.

I believe Daniels doesn't do voice acting anymore do to his age and problems with his throat but you'll have to look it up to be sure. Kilmer was okay, but your right there was no emotion in his voice, it reminded me of the HAL 9000 computer in 2001.

I wish I could've bought the Knight Rider GPS but they were sold out before I could put the money together to buy one.

I have the Knight Rider GPS.. actually I'd be willing to sell it...

As an actual GPS it is horrible... as a Knight Rider collectible its amazing...

Just don't expect it to get you from Point A to Point B as you'll be terribly disappointed...

Hmmm, that's probably Why it was never re-released.
