So I've finished Mass Effect 3 (March 10th), The Mass Effect Shepard Trilogy is a masterpiece of a story and the soundtrack is one of if not the greatest video game soundtrack of all time. I can't stop listening to "An End Once and for All"

So I'm at odds with the ME3 ending just like everyone else. But I'm fine with Shepard passing on/sacrificing him/herself for the galaxy I'm actually glad thats how it happens on most of the "6" endings the game has. But what gets me riled up is that the endings give absolutely no closure at all for us. Dragon Age always gave us closure with our endings which left us satisfied even if our Warden died.

This image is of Tali about 2 weeks after the end of the reapers. She has had Geth work on her immune system to the point where she can go without her helmet for more then a couple hours.
The Starchild choices never happen in my story. Instead it ends after the Illusive man confrontation. The Crucible does what it was expected to do and wipes out all reapers and reaper related (husks) combatants. But Eric Shepard bleeds out next to Anderson "Best seats in the house."

Tali returns to the Normandy for Shepard's funeral and goes to his cabin to say goodbye for one last time to him. She finds a framed picture of her and shepard after the collector base. It is one of the only images of them together. On it there is a taped note. Written on it is Shepard's last letter to Tali.

Apologizing he couldn't give her more time that she wanted with him. That he is always watching. And that it is alright for her to find someone new to make her happy. That he wants her to be happy and to let him go if he didn't make it out of the battle in London.
