So as you may or may not know, my maternal grandfather, my "Papa," died in January of this year. It came as something of a shock, and was kind of the straw that broke the camel's back as far as my mental health went. So, I took my usual route and drew some angsty art.

Luckily, time has healed much of my mental pain, so recently I was able to get this out and finish it. Elsie's much truer to my body type in this one, because it represents me. So yeah, now the symbolism list!

Elsie: Obviously, my nickname was Bunny as a kid, so yeah.
Papa as a Bear: Papa was a lumberjack, so I thought bears and trees...yeah. Also, he really was that big compared to me, and I'm 5'9"!
Moonstone Earrings: A gift from Papa and Grandma to me, they got them at Niagra falls.
Stuffed Animal: My paternal grandfather died a few years ago, and since I miss him too I wanted to represent him here somehow. The stuffed animal, "Puppy," was given to me by my Grandma and Grandpa when I was born.
