Having survived an explosion which almost cost him his life, Ara Kudak now works in a more subtle organization trading crystals for technology outside of their world. The explosion however left him some incisions and a severed forearm which cannot be healed by any means.

To conceal the mess, he just wrapped a piece of seaweed wrap around it and became permanently disabled. Little did anyone know that the crystals are able to imbue some of its energy biologically, causing Ara Kudak to writhe in a lot of pain at night.

The crystals had regeneration and transmutation capabilities which he yearns to find out more about. In order to get better technology to work on his 'special power', he finds a most formidable human to aid him; Kearnal.
