QR Code with Purple Signature - 70x70 Overlaid
This is another attempt to make a QR code to put on my artwork, this time with the code on top of my signature but with the signature full width, so I could make the code smaller. This was done in GIMP -- the layer with the signature actually occurs twice, once above the QR code in "Screen" blend mode to turn the black pixels purple, and one below it in "Normal" but with a decreased opacity, to turn the white pixels purple (but a lighter purple). I tweaked the opacity until the signature was visible without making the QR code unreadable by my phone. Again, the code is just the URL to my FA profile.
This time there are only 2x2 pixel squares, so it reduces the size of the QR code ugliness. I still don't know if I'm going to use this, though. Mostly I'm doing this just to be clever and prove that I can, but I'm not going to make my drawings ugly just to do that.

Hm. I'd guess that either your screen has different contrast settings than mine, or your phone is somehow different from mine, or the phone app you're using is somehow different from mine, or more than one of these. But that's a warning to me that just because it works for me, it doesn't necessarily work for everybody. If I actually use this, I'm going to have to put in more leeway and not push the edges of what's readable. *sigh* That means an ugly block of pixels. Hmm. Maybe I can think of something else.
