This is an entry for Isil's contest that she has running right now. The theme is costumes, and I immediately thought of super hero costumes. My fursona (on the left) already had a specific design for her super hero costume, so in this piece Isil and I are off fighting crime together as super heroes. Orrr something.
I hope I drew your character correctly, Isil. When I draw other peoples' characters, I'm always afraid I'll get some detail wrong in their design, eep! I'm not quite sure what your power is exactly. I asked my mom how it looked, and she said the "energy" in your hand looked like you were holding a rock. NOT A GOOD THING, lmao. The "energy bubbles" around your arm were an afterthought; I hope it made it look a little better.
Also, that's a hovership car behind us. I'm not good at drawing any kind of vehicle, so it looks a little weird, but it was really fun to do, especially the highlights.
This was done on 11"x14" bristol paper; I had to scan it in two pieces and put it together in Photoshop, which makes me want to cry because it really wasn't lining up correctly, but I tried. Media used: Micron pens for the lineart, markers, Prismacolor pencils, and white-out for highlights. This took about 7 hours to do, because of the size, and I think that's the most time I've EVER spent on a drawing. And to think, I almost abandoned this half way through. :P

Yay! I'm so glad you liked it. :D
Btw, if you don't get a whole lot of entries to your contest, we can just turn this into a trade between you and I, if you'd want to do that. Coz I entered the contest for fun, not for the prize haha. :P But yeah, whatever you'd feel comfortable with. <3
