I think maybe you need to make this NPR program aware of your music. It's called Echoes and they play new age, atmospheric, and trancey music... all stuff just like yours. I think you should send them some of your stuff. I could help find some links for you if you're interested. : 3 I think you're really great!
This is indeed very uplifting. It's beautiful. X3

It's alright. I certainly don't say these things for thanks. But yeah, definitely consider it. The link for the show is here: http://www.echoes.org/ And since it's public radio it's nonprofit and everything. And they do air a fair amount of independent artists and all. (Also might be good for you to keep track of your industry and all since this is the kind of music you do!)

I'm a musician, and I'd like you to consider playing my music on Echoes. How do I get you to listen to it?
Artists and music are the lifeblood of ECHOES and we are always seeking out new material. We welcome your submissions to ECHOES. We request that you follow these guidelines.
We only accept material on Compact Disc. We do not play cassettes, DATs, Mini-discs or MP3 files on Echoes.
We rarely play self-produced CDRs. We encourage artists to have their music in a finished and commercially-available format before submitting it to Echoes for airplay. It benefits both the listener and the musician if the music is available for purchase if it attracts the attention of Echoes fans. We also encourage musicians to have their CDs available at Amazon.com and iTunes. To reduce confusion, we direct listeners only to those sites for on-line purchases. However, we are aware that CDRs are becoming common final products, so if that is indeed the ultimate format in which your music will exist, feel free to send it to us. Additionally, if you have an advance CDR that accurately represents your upcoming release, it is often advantageous for us to have your material ahead of time. Please clearly mark the official release date on your advance copies.
We generally can not review material that is only downloadable from a website.
Keep in mind that not all music is appropriate for ECHOES. You may have created a masterpiece, but it may not fit with the ECHOES sound or mission. Don't take it personally. We receive nearly 3000 submissions each year, and can only play a small percentage of them.
You may call about the disposition of your material. John takes tracking calls every Thursday, 12 Noon-4pm ET at 610-524-8300. Our daily playlists are available through this website. If your recording doesn't appear there, chances are it is not being played, for whatever reason.
We generally only provide links to Amazon.com and CDBaby entries for CDs we are currently playing, or that have been included on one of our recommended lists, and i-Tunes for sales of individual tracks.
We apologize if this excludes your work, but we cannot possibly include every CD on our site. And we have noticed some alternate links creating listener confusion about who they were ordering from, so we apologize, but we cannot direct listeners to your own home page, or to alternate on-line retailers.
Send all materials, with contact name, address, phone, and/or e-mail to:
ECHOES
P.O. Box 256
Chester Springs, PA 19425
Echoes cannot return any material that is submitted.
Do NOT send us soundfiles attached to e-mail messages. We will NOT listen to these files, and we will be really ticked-off.... really.... I'm not kidding...
Though you might be able to explain that your music is free to download here. But at least it ought to answer most of your questions. That's from the FAQ page. Or at least an idea about how to start there. I have no doubt that your music is wonderful enough to sell through iTunes. : D And it should be pretty easy to self-publish that way. And it'd be a PRETTY nice way to get some easy money while in nursing school. I know that I struggle with that. (And if I could write music I'd sell it 'cause you can sell the same track 1000 times and more. lol NOT easy with commissions. )

I'd say it's worth a shot. The WORST that could happen is that you don't make much money. But I already know people who'd be interested in buying your work. (My roommate for instance.) So I think you'd find that you'd do pretty well.
Step one: Set up a way for people to buy your stuff on CDBaby or iTunes.
Step two: Send it to Echoes (which has a tremendous amount of listeners).
Step three: I pimp you out as often as possible. XD (I already am, actually. lol ) And others pimp you out, too. You link to your CD sales page everywhere. lol
And then if you want more, you could probably even offer to write up songs and submit for contests, commercials, etc. I'm not sure what else is going on. But if you had time and all. lol But I don't know if you'd really need to go that far. lol You'll just need spare cash in nursing school.
