Speaking of haircuts, it was time for me too, I used to have quite a mullet in the back which became a ponytail. As years went by, the ponytail became more of a rattail, so I went to the barber and got a cut more befitting me. The one good thing I can say about my hair, it's not turning grey.
I've learned you cannot trust anyone with anything. It does not surprise me that those coins were stolen, which just goes to show how jaded I am.
What really makes me sick to my stomach is the idea that whoever took it pawned it off at the nearest 'cash for gold' place they could find where it would just be melted down to make cheap jewelery.
Life sucks. x.x

Amen on the inspiration thing. Never turn you back on that.
Being someone that enjoys stargazing to the point I actually own a decent telescope I sit in livid green jealousy of you location. About the only reason I would be, I hate heat. Kitt Peak is visual astronomy mecca.
If it is any consolation my hair is not turning gray. I've been a silver ghost since age 30. You cannot go where you are.

Oh my. When I read about Shep's gold sovereigns getting stolen, I couldn't help but recall that earlier this Year that a little town in Northern California which had a huge gold nugget on display in it's Museum, got ripped off as well. The Nugget's price value was close to Two Million dollars, but the historical value to the little town was priceless. I have a feeling that the darn thing ended up being sold to foreign investors. Otherwise we would have heard more by now.
