The whole thing is that there is this guys i rely like at my school, and I've wanted to go out with him almost all year, but there are multiple reasons why it won't happen. First and foremost, I don't even think he likes me, and even if he did, he's not the kind of guy that is into relationships also he's a grade above me (although at my school it doesn't make that much of a difference). Also if I did go out with him, I wouldn't hear the end of it from everyone, because in all honesty he kind of acts like an ass, but I've seen the side of him that's sweet and caring, we go off campus for lunch with one of my other guy friends about twice a week, and he and I and my other guy friend are always the first people at school, and we're their for a good half hour before anybody else gets there, and in these times he talks to me and see the part of him that's mature and responsible, but to everybody else he puts on a front of being an immature and stupid person who doesn't give a shit about school, and nobody seems to understand why I hang around him (or the people that I've told the truth, why I like him), because I ace all my tests and am trying to get into Cornell, and he's just comes off as a dumb ass, but I've one of the few people that know his true potential and has seen his grades and knows how truly intelligent he is. I just wish more people knew how he rely was, or i wish he would let them know. *sigh* So that's what this picture was about, how, only in my dreams can I not only be with him, but also not get shit about it.

If you care about him then you should try anyways. If he isn't interested then you can stay friends and not be any worse off then you are now. And if people give you trouble then stand up for it and just say that its your choice and your life, and if they don't like it then thats fine, they don't have to be the one dating him. You're true friends may not understand, but should accept you and be happy for you as long as you are happy, and anyone who can't support you isn't worth listening to anyway.

Second, don't doubt it too much. It could happen c: I read the comment explaining and if he already trusts you enough to be open with you, you two might have a chance. Plus, what other people thing doesn't really matter. Once you care so much about a person, the rest of the world doesn't seem to matter so much.

I can't thank you guys enough for all your kind thoughts and words of encouragement! It's amazing to know that you all care about me and my own personal probelms! You all trulying are amazing people! You're right too, if I let people that don't him tell me what kind of person he is or influence my choices then what kind of person does that make me? I'm going to not worry about what they think and keep hope with Adam (that's his name) and maybe someday we'll have something! Agian thank you all for you're support and caring words!

Well you can try to make some hint not directly that you may like him without making it obvious of course.
I don't know the guy but you say he is intelligent so i think he can catch something.
And well woman are know to be "complicate" for lack of better word ^^ so even if he pisunderstood you can get out off this.
