On the first day of my trip, as I walked to Senso-Ji Temple, what struck me was the appearance of Sky Tree. Over 2,000 feet of metal standing straight up.

The Tokyo Sky Tree, the tallest TV tower in the world, right before my eyes... The tall, majestic, futuristic structure was something I couldn't look away from.

In the afternoon of the day I went to Tsukiji, I wanted to get closer. I could see it from my hostel, so the walk couldn't have been long.

I was wrong.

In the hour and a half it took me to walk there... I finally realized how huge Sky Tree really was. As for what the view is like... I was left to only to ponder. For this was March, and the tower opens in May...
