"It's only fitting that a champion will always to seek the pinnacle of his profession, no matter his age. If you expect me to stop doing what I enjoy, that I live for... hehheh. My dear, dear friend... you are dreaming. Now please leave my office at once."
The latest in a long line of an old-money battler family that had stepped away from the art for nearly three generations, Creston was nonetheless raised with the expectation that he would be a capable fighter in his own right -- the Toliver motto was 'A stout body and a steadfast mind', and Creston quickly proved to live up to it, having it basically hammered into his head that he was born to win. His status as a battling prodigy was evident when he tore his way through youth leagues and evolved into a Seadra before he was ready for prep school. His schools years went by with honors and awards in both academic and athletic exploits, and he returned to his family after graduation with a single goal in mind: to conquer any and all battle leagues that he could make his way into. His attitude had also changed along with his body; the Creston of before was steadfast, but slow to speak and almost timid. This new man was cocky, headstrong and so self-confident that he came off as condescending even when he wasn't trying to.
Regardless of his attitude, he was prime league property and had many offers fired his way. Eventually he was snapped up by a suitably prestigious league, and ground his way to the top with a flawless record, remaining on top before jumping ship, following the lure of better opponents and better paychecks. All the while, his parents were somewhat uneasy about his focus on battling, as they wanted him to return and manage the Toliver fortune. He eventually did return home -- once his parents had passed away in a terrible accident while on vacation (to this day, he claims to have had nothing to do with it). As their sole heir, everything was his... and he poured his money into building his *own* leagues, all while continuing to battle wherever he could. From the lowliest of backalley fight clubs to the most prestigious leagues in the world, his name was known, respected, and often feared.
In public, Creston was a high-roller and a notorious lecher, having a different person on his arm almost every other day. In battle, he was a smirking beast, favoring a surprisingly vicious close-up style revolving around pinpoint beams aimed to cause the most pain. Even as his own investments began to bear fruit, he continued to work tirelessly both in seeking fights and looking for potential recruits that caught both his interest and his eye.
Many, many years have passed, and Creston is known simply as 'The King' in most circles. His business ventures now run the gamut from perfectly legal (his 'core league' runs on the level with normal League rules, and is quite popular) to the downright criminal (he funds numerous 'pit' leagues and 'junior leagues', and has his scouts keep an eye out for potential talent). He even has connections with a handful of pharmaceutical companies that create the latest in 'performance enhancement' drugs, and is himself a very avid user, which explains how (along with extensive reconstructive surgery) he still fights like he's half his age. All in all, he isn't the leader of the pack, but he is the most persistent and the most controversial. [It should be noted that his notorious habit of being 'friendly' with battlers and the pressure tactics he and his scouts employ are such that Felinduce has a restraining order in place preventing any Toliver agents approaching within 500 feet of campus. This doesn't stop them from contacting potential recruits outside of school, however...]
Slim and wiry, the only real sign of his age are the occasional stretch mark and wrinkle here and there; otherwise, he is in tip-top shape. Naturally, all of his clothes are cut to make room for his curling tail. When on business, he's in a three-piece suit bearing his logo somewhere on it, and is never without his Girl (or Man) Friday of the month, ofttimes an up-and-coming battler.
There is a reason that, in well over two hundred battles, that he's lost all of five times; he's a prodigy, through and through. Much as he knows how to handle his fighters through manipulating them with their own greed, expectations and fears, he easily does the same in a fight, letting his very reputation act as an additional weight to drag his opponent down. If that doesn't work, he's more than happy to simply destroy opponents with an extremely mobile, evasive style that picks off most from afar... but is just as useful up-close. In fact, he prefers to fight in melee range -- it's easier to break his opponents' bones with well-placed Hydro Pumps that way.

Yes, he's basically a PCA version of Don King. :V
I mainly came up with him to present the other side of what was 'out there' in the world.
As for those five people who beat him, I'd originally meant for it to be: Jethro Biggs, Natasha 'The Devil' Bono (mother of Bernard Bono in the long-due-for-rewriting 'Battle On') and Felix Blackclaw, leaving the other two spots open for parents/faculty that might've thumped him in the past. (He doesn't view those losses as bad; anyone that could beat him should be honored to let his legacy push them higher!)
Anyway... yeah.
