I really like this one, though I really like most of the fire and ice pieces, hell I really like most of your shots...

I can't describe what it was like to see that scene, just nuts! I sincerely hope that I get a second chance at it as I look at those early shots and scream WHAT WAS I DOING!!! I've learned so much since then and could do so much better now. I was fixated on one thing there unfortunately and as someone said of a similar situation I made the mistake of centering and focusing on my subject. This shot doesn't and is much better for it.

wow the sun in this picture is just great! the ice is so cool too, i man it looks like somebody craved it into that shape. fire and ice is such a great title for this pic. ^-^

Thanks. Quite frankly the whole series just blows me away. As I told Neo, I just hope to hell that I get to shoot a similar scene this fall/winter when the lake freezes up. These are all natural of course. Huge piles of ice and ridge lines pushed up by the winds. Incredible power. I've got some situational shots in the scraps gallery I think. Note: 99% of credit goes to Mama Nature and her wild ways.
