Had planned on doing an official reference for commissioners/anyone who wants to draw me. I drew/scanned this a while ago, and FINALLY got some spare time here and there to finish it (this totally didn't take me a month to do)
Hope the lighting/shading isn't too obstructive of the colors going on, I thought it looked hella bland on its own :x
If it's a problem let me know, I'll get you a non-lit version.

I think it could use a group of color references on a corner, because those things are damn helpful just sayan.
And yes, you character is cute when he laughs and stuff, I believe one special trademark of your character that I like the most would be the black bottom lip, thing that I think more people should use.

I think I died laughing when I read "jimmies rustled." Now a favorite euphemism for getting angry. ^^;
The lighting effects are just fine for a character reference sheet. The base colors are present enough and should be distinguishable (the fur is not yellow is it? :p)
One very unique feature of your artwork I find consistent is that itchy fur you manage to draw. It's not spiky and rough like most artists, nor is it fluffy or stiff. It's... just... well, itchy lookin'. :P That being said, it makes me feel like your character is always someplace hot and dry. Very cool indeed. (see what i did there?)

I dunno, I guess I would describe his environment to be hot, maybe not too dry though. At least, that's not what I had originally intended.
