Hehe, looks pretty difficult to get the shading right though, my second favourite has to be a waxwing though ^^ and yeah wildlife is amazing. Not seen many blue tits recently though where I am :(

Ah x.x I happen to be lucky enough to live on the edge of some protected woods so im quite lucky in what I get to see and sketch ^^, As for the shading ive always found it the easiest thing in art the smoothness is down to blending which can be done using your finger lol ^^ thoe I use artist blending stumps now to be more acurate. Ye should give it a try an practise an ye can always get decent photo refs from google if needs be ^^

haha, I don't really need google for photos. I'm a photographer and take photos of wildlife in my spare time whenever I see anything. I'm not too great at drawing though and know it just won't turn out how I expected so I think i'll stick to photography as a form of art xD

Ah fair doos lol ^^ well ye should put ye photos on FA would be cool to see some nice british wildlife photos ^^

Ah haven't really got that many in the past year, been mainly focussing on college and other stuff, but if I get any new photos then i'll be sure to put them up ^^
