it is dark but its more based on original pics of gem like this one http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5870570/ or this one http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5716686/ she used to be a lot darker coloured and mr iceage was having difficulty finding fur in the pale reddish purpley pink that gem is these days so im more than happy to go with her older colour scheme *giggles*
