I do scientific illustration at the Field Museum of Natural History of Chicago. I'm trying to teach myself watercolor, but watercolor is by far the most difficult paint medium, imo. I'm just so used to acrylics and oils. =\
Anyway, this is my first attempt at true watercolor technique. It's much better than when I first started, but it could definitely used more work. I'd say it's 50% done? I'll move it to scraps when I finish it.
