Better with headphones, I think.
A remix or remake or whatever of Lockjaw's Saga/Lockjaw's Locker/Ship Hold from Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest (Conquest =P)
The song is played in Lockjaw's Locker in world 1, Lava Lagoon in world 2 and Glimmer's Galleon in world 3, if you didn't know.
Also, they're water levels, so that's the deal with the water sfx =3
And yip, this game made me "obsessed" with aliteration XD
Anyway...
The original song was composed by David Wise, if I'm not mistaken.
I had to rip the water sound effects myself from the original song, which was a bit tedious to do, and sequence them correctly and what not.

I'm glad that you actually played the games, since most people I knew never knew these songs >.<;
S-shaky...?
Well, it's a MIDI. It's already sequenced and stuff, allowing me to edit stuff. It's only my first remix.
Though now I just try to play the songs by ear, as I don't want to depend on MIDI. Besides, even using MIDIs for reference, I actually found myself correcting the MIDI files =P
Fun fact: Stickerbrush Symphony (The bramble level music) was originally intended to be the underwater level theme, but Wise, the composer, realized there was nothing serene about the underwater levels in DKC2, and thus he composed a new song for the underwater levels, and used the original music for the bramble stages =P
Though to us players, there's nothing serene about the bramble levels either, since aside from the first bramble level, they're quite difficult and frustrating =P Squawks's section in Animal Antics above all xP
Lockjaw's Locker was actually remixed several times in Tropical Freeze =3
So anyway, outside of the fact that it already came sequenced, I hope my rendition sounds good, too~ x3

Wait really? And i lived in those games they were my childhood! I never beat them until recently, but that is because I got smarter.
Well, thedrums are just a bit weird, not bad or off-point. Like I did I listen to remixes of this and the original, so I often hold pieces that redo it on high to it. Yours is not bad by ANY means!
And nice to have that ear, cause you recreated it amazingly.
And he was wise for doing so (sorry for pun). And it is right decision, those water levels all had something challenging about em.
Well he wanted us to feel calm about those levels....I hated the brambles.
And your rendition is good!

Me too. I still play and 101% DKC2 every now and then x3
Awwww... But I don't like criticism... And it's my first thingie ever...! I hope so...
I meant that someone else sequenced it, but nowadays I try to do stuff by ear.
Yay, puns~ ^w^ I personally never hated underwater levels in games, but maybe I never played games that had super hard underwater levels.
Animal Antics, man. ANIMAL ANTICS! The part where you're Squawks navigating a bramble maze with the wind blowing, you know? GAH! xP
Yaaaay, thanks~ ^w^

It's fun to plus percent the game. X3
Oh, sorry...but you did a damn void job!
Hey, doing by ear beats trying to sequence.
Well DKc3 had some hard underwater levels. As far as super hard underwater levels? I would say any 3D game with them is usually frustrating.
Oh yeah, I liked that one, while wind dud suck in it.
Welcome!

Yip yay~ Maybe I can stream it some time~ x3
Void...?
And is more fun =3 And easier in parts x3
The GBA port/remake had an underwater level with wind effects... Animal Antic's younger brother >.<;
Super Mario 64 and DK64 were fine in terms of 3D. Banjo was just annoying for the fact that Notes reset when you die. Tooie let you breath forever. Can't think of anything else right now.
How can you like that part? xP

Yay~ It'll be fun~ ^w^
Guessing you meant "good", looking at my keyboard x3
Yeah, but I figured calling it wind would help you remember it better x3
Yip yay~ ^w^ Now look at what they became >.<;
Well, almost every level had some kind of gimmick unique to it =3
I felt DKC3 kinda went overboard with that ^w^;

It's okay x3
Yay again~ x3
Yeah. Least there's Playtonic now =3
It was fun, but it lacked a certain... something that made the other two entries so great. Wise also didn't do the soundtrack for that one, though he did do the music in the GBA remake.

The music was good. I prefer some tracks from the SNES game, and some from the GBA game.
I don't think the DKC games were known for their great stories xP
First game was like, a group of reptiles stole our bananas! Let's get them back!
Then it was like, the group of reptiles stole our bananas, AND the protag from the last game! Let's get them back!
After that, it was like, the group of reptiles stole our bananas, the protag from the first game, AND the protag from the last game! Let's get them back!
Or maybe the last two games the bananas didn't get stolen... It's been a while. Didn't the second game get DK kidnapped with bananas as ransom...?
A Rare employee stated that K. Rool wanted bananas either because he liked them, or wanted the Kongs to starve. Later, in one of the King of Swing games, K. Rool says he hates bananas, meaning he wants to starve them to death, following the Rare employee's logic.
K. Rool's Trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl said that Kaptain K. Rool was King K. Rool's brother, which is just wrong. They're the same person.
That said, K. Rool should get into Smash. I even voted for him in the ballot thing x3
Hope they'll bring the Kremlings back in the next DK game, though.
Fun fact: In the first game, K. Rool is fought on a pirate ship, and he turned into a pirate in the second game. In the second game, he was fought inside a mechanical airship, and he became a scientist in the third game. In the third game, he's fought inside a castle, and he became a king again in DK64. Maybe he would've been a boxer is Rare made a main DK game that implied game for the GameCube.

Yeah I agree.
And the first one was about the bananas. The other two were about the protagonists from previous games getting kidnapped.
I would say he wanted them to starve. But apes eat other stuff xD.
They better bring Kremlings back. It isn't DK without em.
That is a funny sequence of coincidence xD.
And really?

Come to think of it, if that was the case... what were the bananas doing there in those stages if the Kremlings never took them...?
=3
Hey, Returns and Tropical Freeze were amazing, too...!
Snowmads were better than the Tikis, at least. And Wise returned for TF~ x3
Well, going with that logic, at least. If you 101% DK64, there's a little audition take cutscene. In the beginning, there's "AUDITIONS" plastered over a picture of a dolphin. Dolphin was the prototype name for GameCube, so it implies there was supposed to be a GC game.
Bonus trivia: I drew K. Rool in his boxer outfit fucking a female Hitmonchan once xP

What were we talking about again? Panties? Oh, bananas, I see xP
But why would they have bananas if they actually demanded bananas?
Whaaaa---...? =O I can stream them for you~ x3 You should give them a try, though~ =3
And Tropical Freeze will be released for Bitch soon. I call the Nintendo Switch the Nintendo Bitch, because one, it was a bitch to find, and two, so I can say "BRB, docking my Bitch" xP
Well, you had to collect almost EVERYTHING. I always go for 101% x3
Last playthough I went the extra mile and actually collected all of the Banana Coins, which isn't even kept track of! All 949... Which was actually invalidated, since after all these years, recently a new rainbow coin was discovered that brought the total up to 974.
Which does beg for the question, it's still a weird number to end on... I honestly believe there's another rainbow coin hidden somewhere. One is worth 25, and so one more would bump up the total to 999. Makes sense, right...?
But this particular coin was hidden in the typical dirt mound, invisible below grass. The question is, if there's another... where would it be...? It's not unthinkable it's out of bounds, since it could've been placed early in development, only for the level to be altered later, and the dirt mound forgotten about, ending up out of bounds... But I hope it'll be collectable, or at least exist.
And sexy xP Yay, thanks~ x3
