Yes the Liger came up with yet another species with yet another Earth timeline in mind for em. hehe.

The Bi'lin are Synthetic Biologic Organism. Meaning their DNA was created artificially and thusly exist nowhere else in nature. They were created by Dr. Valorvidge for reasons he did not reveal before his death. They are a warm blooded species which is mono gendered. Any two are capable of producing offspring. Their chromosome count and chemical make up also seem to allow for interbreeding with humans. Bi'lin do not seem to fit into any of the major categories of life. Despite being warm blooded they have light yet durable bones interwoven with Carbon fiber. Their muscle fiber is twice the density of humans and their metabolism can vary in certain conditions. They posses heightened senses and lastly possess a brain over ten times as dense with neurons as a human being and a highly developed frontal lobe. From a biological stand point Bi'lin are superior to humans in every conceivable fashion.

When the doctor died his lab soon after was shut down and his thousands of Bi'lin were released into the world. It didn't take long for their existence to become public knowledge and for debate to begin. When they were released most were children. None of them were any older than 17. Many were on the streets trying to survive while a few were taken in by former staff of the lab facility they were created in. The governments of the world debated for months on how the Bi'lin should be treated. There were already laws on the books about Synthetic Biological Organisms, one which made the Bi'lin's creation highly illegal, and thus many argued that they should be treated as any on SBO would be treated. As property. Some feared what this new species might be capable of in a few generations time and wondered if they should all be destroyed. At the end of the day however cooler minds prevailed. Since the Bi'lin were clearly sentient as any human being and requesting human rights it was decided that they would be granted human rights status.

Bi'lin today can be found through all walks of life and in many places with personalities as varied as that of humans. Although technically having the same rights as humans Bi'lin still typically face a certain level of discrimination from humans some of whom view them as inferior and others even going as far as to view Bi'lin as unnatural abominations. This said however Bi'lin typically do not hold the reverse prejudice towards humans as most are aware that majority of humans don't care, are unable to physically harming them in most instances, and many times may even want to help them.

Julius is a young first Generation Bi'lin. he was still fairly young when the lab was shut down and spent some time on the streets trying to survive before the UN declaration which sent aide. After that Julius found himself adopted by a human couple. One of the few interested in adopting them. His adoptive fathers were good men. One was a Physician while the other had more of an artistic career. Julius is generally quite when alone and tends to observe others keenly. He is quite intelligent and isn't lacking in physical strength attending a sparing class a few times a week. He is currently attending university for genetic and taking special interest in paleontological research and archeology in general. Due to events in his early childhood Juilius still has nightmares regarding them from time to time which much to his embarrassment have caused chronic bed wetting which is made worse in times of stress. Julius has had this problem all his life and now finds himself drawn to trappings of infancy and childhood though has admitted it to very few. Only those he has implicit trust in and or those who share this interest.
