i can't let it out
i can't let my heart out and spill
i want to love and be free
my heart yearns to be free from the cage i put it in
is keeping my self locked away right
is it safe will no one crush it
will no one steal it
will no one play with it and spill it out on an open canvas
will it be safe in this cage
i'll never know i just keep it locked away
i want to love but chose not to i'm locked up

love heals wounds with time
even now i still hold a wound but love from friends and family will patch it up
i hold no doubts now i'm free my hearts out on display for all to see

it'll still fears but its no doubt able to bear the burden placed on it
