Ohhhh my. I finished a prelim of the back, and I need some advice.
I don't think the ass looks right and I'm not sure what needs fixing, I definitely am looking for some advice on that. Also- want to know how the general arms and back look together.
Keep in mind when you critique! The outline NEEDS to be the exact same thing, so when giving me a critique keep in mind that I can't change the outline around the edges, as they need to line up PERFECTLY with the front to make the paper doll.
I've done that here.
Thank you so much ahead of time for any time you can donate to help!
I've included the front for a good reference when comparing where things are from sketch to sketch, rather than forcing anyone to search for the front sketch.

This is what I got!

Mainly I changed the placement of her armpit. Where you have it makes it look like her back is starting there and her arm is in front of her, so when the elbow comes back, it looks like that's where you mean her side to be. If you make the armpit area wider there, it'll be obvious her arm is coming back in "front" of her back.
Added a couple little details that might help define her arm/elbow, made her pinky longer.
I don't even know how her hair should be drawn really, but people have hair all over the back of their skull. Run your fingers up the back of your neck until you get to your hairline. Even if your hair is shaved short down there, it'll still be a little hairy!
Her leg coming back will also push that buttock up a little.
Made her feet wider at the balls and added a little achilles heel detail. ^^ Again, I suck at feet. Haha.
It looks really good though! I didn't really find too many things to redline. :D

Oh geeze, I HAVE short hair and that was silly to draw that way. XD I confess I went straight across from the front, which was SO silly to do. Definitely fixing that!
And thank you for the back details! I knew I was missing something, and now I know it was the shoulder blade lines- totally makes sense to have them with her shoulder and arms so far back.
The buttock lifting makes SO much sense, and I was looking at the leg area things something should be different since that leg is pushed back a bit. That looks so much better thank you!
And thank you for all the other little details, I'll definitely make the foot closest to us wider like it shows, but I have to keep the other foot the same width- can't move the outline remember? >^.~< Its a tough challenge since the front and back have to line up EXACTLY when I do the paper cutting later. But all the work now saves me pulling out my hair later when I've already cut out the two outlines and realize they don't like up. o.o
*deep breath* after I fix everything, totally time to start planning the paper cutting. this is gunna be com-pli-cated. XD

Derped again. XD I've never made a paper doll! I sort of did when I made that chow bookmark for
stray but I cheated when I made that and left an outline around her on the paper when I printed it out so that the lines didn't have to match up perfectly. That's not an option for a paper doll. XD
GOOD THING YOU REMEMBER THINGS LIKE THAT cause I sure don't! haha
Good luck with it<3

LOL. Yeah lots of practice with those pinup paper cuttings having to remember tons of things or it wouldn't turn out right. XD As I tell people these things are most time consuming with the plan stages and the work of keeping everything in mind.
<3 Really looking forward to the next step though!
