Pure stone, not cobblestone. We had like 50 furnaces going all of the damn time. Used up like two stacks of coal. Was ridiculous.

Yeah I may or may not have spawned us an enchanting table in this fashion. x3
We won't have to at this house though. So far we've found 14 diamonds at the bottom of a mineshaft I dug in a nearby hill. Massive massive lava pool system, lots of diamond and obsidian. Just gotta go gather some. We want to decorate the hallways of the castle with glowstone so we need to make a portal, among other things.
