A local theatre group is putting on a musical about pirates. Pirate Lives! The Musical! is written and directed by a guy who has done a lot of work with Improv Boston, and the music was composed by a talented bastard from Berkley. Performances will be at the Arsenal in Watertown, MA, April 20-22 and April 25-28.

I'm involved in the production, and it's awesome. SO! To promote the show, I'm offering free pirate sketches and icons! This is where you come in.

FREE SKETCHES: If you are in the Boston area (or are going to be), come see the show! Tickets are $15 if you buy them online. People who send me a screencap of their proof of purchase for a ticket (which you can buy here) will receive a free pirate-themed sketch from me. Just send me a note or e-mail with a screencap of your purchase receipt and refs for your character. Please put "Pirate Promotion" in your subject line. PLUS: If we sell more than 50 tickets this way, everyone who has purchased a ticket will be entered to win a free full-color+background upgrade of their pirate sketch!

FREE ICONS: If you're not in the Boston area, you can still help out by promoting the show! Just post a journal linking back to this image, then comment below with the following information:

Link to your journal promoting the show
1. A ref of your character's face/description of their facial markings.
2. What kind of headgear you'd like (hat, bandana, cuckoo, etc..)
3. Eyegear, if any (eyepatch, glasses, sunglasses)
4. What you'd like crisscrossed at the bottom (cutlasses, bones, guitars, etc..)
