A short Sci-Story I wrote during my senior year HS. It's based off of Fear Factory's album, titled Obsolete. I'm going to do a complete redux of it in the summer. If that is right to say or just redo it.

“Nothing is the way it seems. Discerning man from machine. Dominate as to erase. Wiping man off earth’s face. Fueling engines through deceit. To eradicate humanity. Man is obsolete. Erased, extinct.” –Fear Factory Obsolete (1998).

The year is 2298 A.D.; the world is not the same as it was 200 years ago. Man use to dominate and rule the world, no longer. Five years ago mankind created a massive crime fighting computer system called The Infrastructure. It was said that The Infrastructure was the most intelligent A.I. system ever designed. It kept an eye on humanity with billions of tiny red cameras scattered throughout the world. The system’s purpose was to able to pin – point a crime in any part of the world and apprehend the criminal(s) with machines called Drones. Drones became the global police force with new laws set forth by The Infrastructure. Drones looked identical to humans; they blended into society waiting for The Infrastructure to alert them. Within two years The Infrastructure brought crime down 100%. Months after crime ending, The Infrastructure decided that mankind was the criminal. Soon more strict rules and laws were set forth to humanity to rid their criminal ways. For example, protesting was punishable by death. Soon jails were overflowing with criminals; mostly innocent. No one was free anymore and the perfect society was created.
