Theme Number 42 of the 100 theme challenge - Standing Still.

This I designed as a profile pic for NiNi. She's simply balancing herself in an odd way on a stick of bamboo as she meditates. Weird I know.

Now for you enjoyment, some information about NiNi herself. (And I know this is VERY crappy of a profile, so sue me. I haven't done this kind of thing in YEARS. I know she sounds Mary Sue like...ugh...someone get me a gun.)

Name: NiNi

Nicknames: Ni, Ni-chan, "Sunshine Girl" (Mikey gave her that name actually), and Ni^2

Height: Approximately 5'0", but 5"2 when she wears her cork sandals.

Weight: "A lady never tells. Even if that lady is a turtle."

Eyes: Emerald

Personality: Cheerful, pleasant, shy (sometimes very shy; especially around Leonardo)- shes's very emotional for the most part. (whether it'd be anger or depression, but those kinds of moments are very rare)

Favorite Color: Golden yellow

Favorite Food: Anything Italian

Hobbies: Writing, drawing cooking, spending time with friends, studying Japanese culture, and sometimes singing.

Weaponry: Giant Shuriken


Basic Information

Not much can be said about NiNi. She has a tendency to think about her identity for she has no exact knowledge of her origin. (Then again, even as the creator - I have NO idea yet...^^; )

NiNi is the voice of reason kind of character - the kind that can be peaceful, and yet sometimes shy in some situations. However, she does have her moments of getting aggressive, but that's a rarity and many people are thankful for that...I guess you could say that NiNi is the woman's touch in the lair when she's around.

NiNi wasn't always the bright and happy turtle girl that we tend to see her most of the time. In reality, she was someone who was very dark, let alone sad. Her original color was gray - she even had her bandanna that color. Mikey was the first of the brothers she met up with, and he was the one that influenced her to change the color of her bandanna because of gray being such a gloomy color. So, he picked out the color yellow for her and gave her the title "Sunshine Girl" (This will be shown in better detail in a future comic)

NiNi's relationships with the turtles is very interesting. NiNi considers Mikey the little brother she never had - she's able to be more open around him and is the type to console Mikey when he gets picked on by his brothers.

When it comes to being around Donatello, she can sometimes relate to his nature of wanting to talk things out instead of having to fight - NiNi not being necessarily a violent on unless triggered to get that way.

As for Raphael, NiNi's relationship with him is similar to Mikey's in some respects, except for the fact that she's mostly listening to him more than her venting out to him. Hence the voice of reason concept.

Now as for Leonardo, that's a weird relationship all together. This is when she wished that she was never shy. NiNi can only be open to him when it comes to training and meditation, but when it comes to other things, she just plain chokes. Her problem is that she has a tendency to be afraid of rejection, let alone love itself. Although it is pretty evident when she sees Karai near Leonardo, NiNi tends to get a tad annoyed of her - not because of her thinking that she wants to be with Leo, but the fact that Karai has "betrayed" Leonardo so many times. (Oh the hilarity!) Ironically, Leonardo was the last of the brothers she met up with.

And of course, there's Master Splinter whom she finds more like a father figure over anything else. She pretty much considers him as the ONLY parental kind of figure she's ever had.

NiNi has a pretty large group amount of friends, but I don't want to go into too much detail because that can get kind of boring. I'll just say that she can get along with people as long as they don't try to kill her or anyone she cares for.

Ugh. Well, that profile sucked. I'll redo/revise one on my journal one of these days. This is just a general idea of her. So, it's not finalized yet. There's so MUCH more about her.
