Very similar to some of the other rifles I have built, Though i will admit i had some help with this one, a couple friends built most of it then I bought it off them and made it my own. Czarina here is am amazing rifle which with the right ammo can shoot out to 800 yards and hit a man sized target the 16 inch barrel however makes it super light and great for close in work as well.

-Mako Single Point Sling plate
The whole thing is Moly-resined in Military FDE or Taupe. Looks really good and blends in here in the grasslands very well. I plan on giving it another cout of the FDE cause it looks a little light in some spots then doing some accent work in Foliage green, however I wanted to get this up so that you guys didn't think i was laying down on the job.

Yea This is a Franken gun i forgot to put upt here that the upper is a spikes and the Bolt and carrier is from LMT, lol so no it isn't really a rock river though it has one of there standard two stage triggers in it, going to swap for a geissele. I mostly build of DTIs actually but this one came at a great price and it fits amazing.
Very true, though i am not a fan of colts myself, they are too expensive for what you get and the moment you change anything of substance you void your warranty (this is true of all the big names so more of a problem with bigger companies in general). Ars are moving amazingly fast right now, (2012 and the election are making people crazy)
The ak platform is a great rifle, easy to use and reliable as all get out. In it's role it works amazingly well and it's role is a 2-3 hundred yard killer (in the case of the 47 and 4-5 hundred in the case of the 74). The draw backs to the platform is that outside of it's operational envelope it sucks a salty, and it doesn't have the customization options that you get with an AR.
Love the ak and will be getting one as my close in gun but yea for any sort of distance? Gonna go with an ad in a heart beat
