I've been inspired recently by a number of artists on here and so this morning I woke up did some java, frazzled my brain and then needed to just doodle something, that something rapidly turned into a 'lets mess with this tool and see what happens' thing.
Never be afraid to experiment. I was mainly working on trying to give my eyes more depth and to find a way to do eyes without having to load up gimp and rely on gradients, in the end I found a rather nifty little tool in Sai called paper. now I dunno what effect the paper tool is supposed to give but it actually makes for an interesting fur tool and so in the end whilst id been playing around with eyes, i think the ears came out awesome.
Anyway back to drawings im supposed to be doing

Wow, I love how the eyes and the fur turned out! I think the Paper tool is supposed to be like painting on paper because the brush texture is set to Paper at first, but of course you can change that to whatever you want, and change how strong the texture is, and everything. Anyway this turned out amazing!
