Back in February, I was driving down our alley, looked over and found a very skinny puppy cowering behind a trash can. I took him home, posted notices on and off line, but since no one ever came forward, we wound up keeping him. His name is Oliver which everyone claims is derived from different sources -- I was thinking of Oliver Twist, my husband was thinking of Oliver Hardy, and my son Ryan was thinking of General Oliver from Mass Effect 3. *L*

Needless to say, Ollie made himself right at home. One of his endearing qualities is that he likes to sleep with one of his toys. Before he got big enough, he used to lean over the edge of the bed and whine until we picked whatever toy it was and then he went right to sleep.
