Here is the hidden defect I made mention of in my submission of the raw blank. This has been given a light, partial buffing to show what I was talking about clearly. Because of the resin I use as well as my technique, the flat sides are not totally flat. The milky area is flat and the clear area is where the resin ever so slightly dips into the casting. If gluing 2 of these lenses together or putting a graphic eye on the flat side, the clear area will be prone to developing air bubbles as your adhesive dries. This is why I buff my lenses like I do.
