Somewhere between the drawing of the last picture and this one, Sao actually went and investigated horse breeds re: size/build, coloration, and so on, and determined that Cricket is probably some sort of Shire/Fresian cross, which works out kind of awkwardly with the fact that her human half is based on a girl who probably wouldn't top 5'4" on a good day. On the other hand, given this, her horse parts are actually, I believe, really kind of small for her given breeds. (Autumn, to compare, is meant to be around 5'9" )
