As I menioned in my user info, most of the Lizard Queen Chronicles characters were created during the course of RPG campaigns I played with my cousin years ago. This is one of the groups of anthro and alien heroes we played with, the Dark Warriors. We loved making new player characters, and we went absolutely NUTS with this group, which expanded from four to six to eight and eventually all the way up to 25! In fact, we actually created a total of 28 characters for this group--we just dropped three of the weaker ones. Playing this many characters was somewhat unwieldy, but kind of fun, even though no enemies were really a challenge to this bunch.

The primary purpose of this sheet was to determine to which character random events would happen. We would roll percentile dice and compare results against the numbers in red. But it also gave me a chance to draw portraits of each and every Dark Warrior character, which was fun. I think I made this sheet around 1993. Check out the tree-trunk necks I used to draw on everyone, both male and female! You can see that Tommy and Leogard were in this group, though both looked a little different from the way they are now. Bobbi Wolf is likely to make a cameo in the LQC. Blarga and Kylina were originally slated to be LQC regulars, but I had trouble finding useful roles for the bat sisters. If I do, they're back in. Geo and Mayauneria have outside chances of appearing in the project. Turja was originally a one-shot, throwaway villain whom the Dark Warriors fought against and defeated easily. I didn't know she would eventually grow into one of my favorite creations!
