A while back I commissioned this piece and the initial idea was I wanted a feral version of Asura. I think that part has been accomplished very well :D
I was asked or a background and suggested a Mayan temple theme. So the whole idea behind this picture turned into, Asura is revered as a Godess of sorts by this ancient culture. She's sitting on her pedestal waiting for her loyal believers, followers to pay homage and respect to her. Lovely piece! Enjoy :D
