What are you noticing or what details do you pay attention to when drawing expressions? I'd like to draw a greater variety of expressions and am looking for where to start learning from.

It's weird. Lately I keep getting a lot of people mentioning expressions to me. I don't know what's up with that. XD

In any case, uhh... I'm not sure. I guess I focus on the eyes when doing expressions. The eyes tell a lot, if not almost everything. Looking up usually gives a sense of dreaminess or imagination, sometimes sultry depending on the eyebrows. Looking down gives a look of confidence or attitude, like in this picture.
