When i was a kid I used to catch Roly Poly's or pill bugs, and would sing to them as I let them crawl across my hand and roll up into a ball. I always felt horrible for accidentally squishing them as i tried to help them back right side up with the tip of my finger.

Roly Poly's always fascinated me and them along with other insects gave me interest in the mechanical world of bugs. How they moved and felt as they scurried across your fingers.
