More or less a warmup for the day.
It's been a long, long time since I decided to draw something for myself. It's been a long time since I've drawn something for myself and not have it be related to my comic. If I wanted to I could expand into other stories and worlds.. but I don't. Maybe some day, but I hate making promises I don't keep.
This kind of stuff is what happens when I watch something like all of Game of Thrones in one sitting...

This is... Wow. I mean it, Wow. I know your art and I love it. You're by far one of the my favorite artists and one of the best ones I know. But this is a whole other level from what I'm used to seeing from you. I am astounded at the quality and depth of this piece.
... Perhaps you should draw more things just for you a little more often. If this is how it turns out, I for one would love to see it.
