I think I understand the feeling, but from that I feel you aren't a bad person. Try not to be so harsh on yourself, mass amounts of guilt like that will just drag you down and keep you there :<

I know that I lost a very close friend apparently because of how I was (and because she got a boyfriend XD)... and I've nearly lost people in the past due to anger.
It's really hard, changing, but its worth it :)

Though I know how hard it is to live with the thought that you're driving people away and you feel you can't help it... Just try and turn those thoughts into drive to be a better person :D
