Hmmm. Whats in it?

The cake is a plain white, all frosting was cream cheese icing. The fries are made of fondant, as well as the cheese curds and the top layer of the cake is slightly texturized and painted with 3 different tones of brown to give it a more realistic look. Then I jabbed holes in that and stuck in short lengths of squared up fondant and stuck them in along with a few random long fries tossed randomly on top.

If you want to make a poutine cake I had a WAY BETTER Idea just after I painted up the first payer of fondant.

Make a pound cake in a long pan, cut pound cake into fries and fry on a pan flipping to brown it all> Once complete jut pile the cake strips into a food container. mix frosting with fondant to give it a lumpy look and randomly toss it threw out the pile. Top with Caramel or milk chocolate for gravy.

(Would look BOSS)

Hmmm... I must pass this along to the member of our household that can bake. I believe she'd be intrigued enough to give this a go. Thanks very much! :)

I wanted to do them lumpy and normal looking, but the person who ordered it wanted it in smaller cubes to mimic the cheese cruds they use in the poutiens you get from The WhistleStop

THIS IS A MASTERPIECE

I saw this yesterday and it's haunted me ever since; so I have to ask; what the hell is poutine cake?

At first I thought it was some fancy chinese take-away with Shellfish; .. now I'm not so sure, with a close up it eerily reminds me of gold-tooth soup, whilst closing my eyes slightly it looks like it's made of cigerette butts; but apparently, if you cut into it; you get cake. Being a massive deception on par with the Taiwanese "Human Bread" thing.

This is pretty realistic!! It's hard to believe that this is a cake!
