Different approach this time, I made the lion fighter less bulkier in build so that from his appearance you can know he can have lightning fast movements, yet possessing great musculatures to boost him enough energy to win the match.

Cool! I can't recall if you did a lion before, and if not that's been ammended here!
The pose doesn't look like one commonly used for an action scene (as in the leg is preparing to kick instead of in mid-kick) but to me that makes it stand out more as less cliche, and the ponytail is a nice complement to the liontail. The face looks very focused like you'd expect a professional fighter too.

Wow impressive! a side of what you say, "less bulkier in build", you made the character in a pose that creates an ilusion of movement and more dynamic. That´s one of the things that I appreciate from an character´s illustration. ^ ^ Keep it up, little by little you show new things from you.
