This should cover the basics. I'll be writing up a somewhat extensive list of particular details of this unit. As well as a secondary reference showing off specific details, like default polymorphic face templates as well as weapons/equipment.

It can literally be any size or shape (within reason). But I'll work up a reference for it soon, probably in the next couple of days.

Indeed, the main inspiration for the head design is a cross up between Daft Punk and some old school japanese Mecha, mainly Patlabor.

The skin texture used on the blue bits is a sort of carbon fiber sheet texture.

Yes, it wasn't that specific texture, but one similar.

It's a simple artistic tool to take a texture, then simply apply it as an overlay or screen layer with a few tweaks and voila!

CS 4 studio edition premium, want to get the new one 6. Perhaps upgrade it since i like the black work space.

Oh nice. Yeah I run cs4 myself. But yeah all you gotta do is paste a texture as a new layer, then you can tweak it, recolor, resize, shape the texture to fit over what you need it to. It's a pretty simple process but can produce quick and amazing results

on the CS 6 or 5 you can do that, can yo really make a fish net say 50 by 50 inches into a larger size say 400 canvas size ?

On CS 6 and 5 all you need is select > reshape > want to apply > click yes > new modification is done with resolution.

Yes cs4 can reshape textures to all sizes, though it's often best to not stretch or enlarge textures too much as quality is still lost to an extent. Ideally you want to find large resolution textures and shrink them down for best effects

That is true yet my problem is this.

when i have a large texture do i turn it into a brush or when i have the image do i resize it with (forgot what tool) selection and just play around with it ?

Yes just use the selection tool to play around. If its pasted as its own layer you can right click the object and select things like 'free transform' and just mess around with it to get it how you want it

Oh, no i don't. It's just a triangle with an exclamation point in it really. With some scribbles near it that I never actually fleshed it out
