So here's Sam NOT getting molested but instead on the job, waiting for the right moment to remove one of New-Isen's enemies.
If you're curious desert rangers are a combination of the night watch from A song of ice and fire (game of thrones) and the NCR rangers in F:NV. Their job is to explore the deserts around new Isen looking for any pre-bomb ruins or tech, keep an eye on the outcast villages and in extreme situations elliminate any leaders of people that are makign them a threat to New Isen
